On 1 January 2014 our canoe/kayak club had ca. 90 members. We are diverse in age, experience level and interest. Amongst our members are kids, elderly, beginners, experts, open canoe fans, kayak fans, flatwater, whitewater and sea kayaking addicts and everything in between. That's why every year our agenda shows a very varied list of activities. Most activities are performed with kayaks, but there are also some members who paddle in conoes.
The club was founded in 1988 (see history) and from the beginning we've had a very pretty location for the "HQ" in a former brick factory. The building is located by the river Rhine, about one kilometer downstream of the Lexkesveer ferry.
Are you also interested in canoeing/kayaking ? Drop by on one of our club evenings/mornings. During summer season (April - September), we meet at the club house every Wednesday evening at 18:45 and during winter season (October - March), we meet Sunday mornings at 09:45 to paddle together on the river Rhine. For precise data, look in the agenda or contact one of our committee members, for instance to get information on the yearly beginners course.
